Meal prepping is an amazing process that I highly recommend you introduce to your own lifestyle schedule.
I work fulltime, am career driven, juggle studying, and manage a household, with many other errands to complete daily. By introducing meal prepping to my busy lifestyle regime has been an absolute game changer, as it saves me time, money, allows me to remain exceptionally organised, and keeps my family eating well without the extra added stress of contemplating what to cook daily.

My household is reset each Sunday, and the meal plan preparation begins on this day, allowing me a smooth sailing platform for the week ahead. I meal prep for 2 days in advance, permitting the meal to maintain its storage life in this duration, and to also minimise the risk of any wastage.
Per week, I have reduced my meal cooking time to three times only, whereas 12 months ago, I would cook meals every day of the week.

I have curated and adopted the following meal preparation methodology, which has done miracles for my lifestyle regime.
Pick your weekly meal plan list on Sunday (or your day of choice)
Breakfast – Uncle Tobies oat satchels as they are extremely convenient, nutritious and no storage is needed, as the satchels are perfectly portioned and prepacked for you!
Lunch – I alternate between cauliflower rice or sweet potato mash as the base, with a protein of choice, and a steamed side of green vegetables.
Dinner – I alternate between cauliflower rice or sweet potato mash as the base, with a protein of choice, and a steamed side of green vegetables.
Prep and Cook
On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, I cook my meal prep as a batch, to portion enough meals for the two days in advance for lunch and dinner.
Storage

I divide each portion and store my prepped lunch and dinner meals in a BPA-free plastic container, with Glad branded cling wrap film on top, to ensure a sound flush airtight seal. All meals are stored in the fridge.
Recipes

The easiest recipes I tend to always levitate towards are slow cooked casseroles, honey soy baked chicken drumsticks, frittata, pasta bakes and lasagne.
Ultimately, the list of meal prepping recipes is endless and without fail. I really enjoy meal prepping and batch cooking, as it streamlines my lifestyle routine, and is the most convenient practice to adopt by ensuring my meals are home cooked, nutritious, flavoursome and fresh.
