With Charles Sturt University 2025 Orientation just around the corner I’m sure everyone is getting excited and maybe a little nervous to learn about what their campus has in store for them! Find your campus below for a breakdown of some of the exciting things we have planned.

For most on-campus students, Orientation Week activities runs from Tuesday February 25th to Friday February 28th. Dubbo’s Orientation Week runs slightly differently on March 3rd.
For online students, don’t miss out on the best Online Game Show on Thursday February 20th from 7pm-8:30pm! Join in on hilarious challenges based on TV’s favourite game shows from the comfort of your own home. Don’t worry there won’t be any cheesy ice breaker games, just complete fun, and lots of prizes to be won!! Don’t forget to register online, we can’t wait to see you all there!
I hope you didn’t think that was all, if you wish to make the trip, you can also attend non-academic, on-campus social events at your nearest campus! I suggest checking on your Student Portal regularly for updates.

Albury-Wodonga

Albury-Wodonga students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet some of your neighbours and settle in.
For all other Albury-Wodonga students it’s your chance to join in on the 2025 orientation with the Welcome Event and Campus Tour on February 25th closely followed by a delicious free lunch! The orientation for International Students will begin after lunch before a night of new friends and fun including Outdoor Leisure Activities, Speed Friending and Trivia Night which would not be complete without free burrito bowls!!
Morning Yoga/Stretch is a great way to begin Wednesday February 26th before a day packed full of important course information and the chance to meet peers in your cohort as well as faculty staff, a delicious free lunch will of course be provided. We encourage you to take a quick break before another night of fun beginning with some sports and games in the afternoon sun and then the choice of Neon Bowling and Burgers or some Chill Board Games and Pizza!
To get your daily vitamin D join the Strava Run Group (you don’t have to run) on the morning of the 27th of February. Learn more about university life with insightful information sessions throughout the day, a yummy free lunch and then spend the afternoon learning more about the beautiful towns of Albury-Wodonga on a Town Tour. Thursday night enjoy some free Parmis before the choice between Music Bingo or some Chill Board Game.
To finish off an incredible orientation enjoy a day of fun on Friday 28th of February starting with Morning Yoga/Stretch to get yourself ready for a Campus Scavenger Hunt with prizes to be won! After a quick cool down join us for a free lunch at Albury Weir before the party starts with the SRC Beach Party. Secure your tickets and get your costume ready now!!
Bathurst

Bathurst students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet some of your neighbours and settle in.
For all other Bathurst students, it’s your chance to join in on the 2025 orientation with the Welcome Event and Campus Tour on February 25th closely followed by a delicious free lunch! The orientation for International Students will begin after lunch before a night of new friends and fun including a Campus Scavenger Hunt, Speed Friending and then the choice between Trivia Night and Chill Board Games. Tuesday night would not be complete without free dinner!

To finish off an incredible orientation enjoy a day of fun on Friday 28th of February starting with Morning Yoga/Stretch to get yourself ready for an exciting Clubs and Market Day connecting with all the associations that make university fun! After a quick break join us in your white shirts for a Paint Party before celebrating a Bathurst tradition 30 years in the making, SRC Dag Night. Secure your tickets and get your daggiest costume ready now!!
Dubbo

Whilst the Dubbo 2025 Orientation is shorter than other campuses it does not fail to deliver on fun!
Dubbo students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet some of your neighbours and settle in.
On Monday March 3rd join us for your Official Welcome to Charles Sturt University, followed by some informative course session and of course free lunch! After a few more information sessions get ready for some fun with a Campus Tour, Bingo and Free Pizza!!
Orange

Orange students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet your some of your neighbours and settle in.
For all other Orange students, it’s your chance to join in on the 2025 orientation with the Welcome Event and Campus Tour on February 25th closely followed by a delicious free lunch! The orientation for International Students will begin after lunch before a night of new friends and fun including Games on the Green, Speed Friending and then the choice of Trivia Night or Chill Board Games. Tuesday night would not be complete without free dinner!!
Morning Yoga/Stretch is a great way to begin Wednesday February 26th before a day packed full of important course information and the chance to meet peers in your cohort as well as faculty staff, a delicious free lunch will of course be provided. To finish off an incredible orientation enjoy a day of fun on Friday 28th of February starting with Morning Yoga/Stretch to get yourself ready for Orange Campus’ most popular orientation activity the Amazing Race!! After a quick cool down join us for a relaxing BBQ lunch at Lake Canobolas to end an amazing week.
Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet your some of your neighbours and settle in.
For all other Port Macquarie students, it’s your chance to join in on the 2025 orientation with the Welcome Event and Campus Tour on February 25th closely followed by a delicious free lunch! The orientation for International Students will begin after lunch before a night of new friends and fun including Speed Friending and then the choice of Game On! Sports Night or Chill Board Games. Tuesday night would not be complete without free dinner!!
Bootcamp is a great way to get your blood flowing on the morning of Wednesday February 26th before a day packed full of important course information and the chance to meet peers in your cohort as well as faculty staff, a delicious free lunch will of course be provided. Course sessions continue after lunch however once they are complete, we encourage you to take a quick break before another night of fun beginning with a Campus Scavenger Hunt, then the choice of a delicious Dinner at the Beach House with a live DJ or Chill Board Games!

Learn more about university life with insightful information sessions throughout the day, a yummy free lunch and then spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful town of Port Macquarie on our Town Tours. To keep the fun rolling get your white shirts ready for a Paint Party before getting cleaned up and deciding between Dinner and a Sunset River Cruise or Pizza and a Movie with snacks galore!
To finish off an incredible orientation enjoy a day of fun on Friday 28th of February starting with Bootcamp to get yourself ready for an exciting Clubs and Market Day connecting with all the associations that make university fun! After a quick break join us at Flynns Beach where you can Learn to Surf or get involved in some fun Beach Games!! Keep an eye out for an amazing SRC event to end an amazing week, TBA.
Wagga Wagga

Wagga Wagga students living in residences, your 2025 orientation begins with Move-In Day on the 24th of February, a chance to meet your some of your neighbours and settle in.
For all other Wagga Wagga students, it’s your chance to join in on the 2025 orientation with the Welcome Event and Campus Tour on February 25th closely followed by a delicious free lunch! The orientation for International Students will begin after lunch before a night of new friends and fun including Speed Friending, Taco Tuesday for Dinner and then the choice Trivia hosted by the Riverina Comedy Club or Chill Board Games!
Bootcamp is a great way to get your blood flowing on the morning of Wednesday February 26th before a day packed full of important course information and the chance to meet peers in your cohort as well as faculty staff, a delicious free lunch will of course be provided. Course sessions continue after lunch however once they are complete, we encourage you to take a quick break before another night of fun beginning with sports and games in the afternoon sun, then Build a Burger for dinner, then the choice of Music Bingo or Chill Board Games!
To get your daily vitamin D join the Strava Run Group (you don’t have to run) on the morning of the 27th of February before a free Pancake Breakfast. Learn more about university life with insightful information sessions throughout the day, a yummy free lunch and then spend the afternoon either exploring the beautiful town of Wagga on our Town Tours or enjoying some Outdoor Leisure Activities in the afternoon sun. The fun continues with free Souvlaki Bowls for dinner before deciding between Tropical Beats on the Deck or Chill Board Games!
To finish off an incredible orientation enjoy a day of fun on Friday 28th of February starting with Social Tennis to get yourself ready for an exciting Clubs and Market Day connecting with all the associations that make university fun! After a quick break get your white shirts ready for a Paint Party before getting cleaned up and joining us for the SRC Returners Night! Get your tickets now, we can’t wait to see you there!!
So, what’s next?
Rest up. These coming weeks are going to so exciting but can be quite emotional too and that’s completely normal!
If your campus has events with tickets or limited spots make sure you sign up now and keep an eye out if you’ve missed out, last minute tickets often show up.
Remember your Orientation Week Coordinators are here to help with all things university, not just orientation, so if you have questions don’t be afraid to ask them. They introduce themselves at the beginning of the week.
Don’t forget to enjoy yourself, be involved as much as possible and make new friends. Orientation 2025 is going to be amazing, and I am sure you will have the best time!!
