To turn a dream career into reality, focus on goal setting, self-development, networking, and gaining practical experience in your chosen field. The process of continuous learning, action, and adaptation is pivotal in making your dream career a reality.
By way of immersing yourself in goal setting, self-development, networking and obtaining practical experience within your dream career, I can guarantee you that you will become the best version of yourself, and your dream career will seamlessly turn into reality.

Below is a breakdown of my self-taught methodology, and I would not live life any other way:
Goal Setting
- Identify your passion and interests and how they align with your dream career.
- Define your dream career and be specific about the type of work, responsibilities, and overall work environment that you envision.
- Break your dream goals into manageable stages with a clear timeline to ensure that you stay on task.
Self-Development
- Validate your current skillset and how you can enhance what you already have to achieve your dream career by way of University degrees, micro-courses, or online workshops.
Networking
- Build meaningful connections with industry professionals to allow you the opportunity to gain experience and learn from their career journey.
- Attend industry events at any given time to further expand your knowledge and to always remain current with happenings pertinent to your dream career.
Practical Experience
- In my personal opinion, I strongly recommend that you always say yes (where permittable) to any given opportunity to allow you the opportunity to apply your developed skills and allow industry professionals to recognise your individual branding as you continue to keep moving forward.
I have been following the above self-taught methodology with fine-tuning my dream career for the last 7 years, and there is nothing I would not change to allow me the opportunity of where my career stands at present, which I am exceptionally proud.

I honestly believe that by remaining persistent throughout the roadblocks and setbacks I have encountered, the four-step approach has been a wonderful grounding point that I frequently reflect on, especially if I am losing focus. I truly hope you are inspired by my dream career journey and draw from my experience to your own mighty voyage.
