I am not going to lie; my schedule is wilder than a bunch of caffeinated rabbits. So, describing a “typical” day as a third-year pharmacy student is a lab experiment in itself, but here is the gist behind a “typical” Monday:
Morning (8-11 AM)
I start my day with prayers, coffee, a questionable stretch, and a pharmacology tutorial. My brain either soaks up the content like a sponge or feels like I decipher Morse code.

Midday (11 AM—2 PM)
My next stop is another caffeine hit to try to decode my pharmacology notes. Then, it’s patient counselling practice before class, so I talk to myself to improvise in class in hopes I don’t accidentally tell someone to snort their inhaler…

Afternoon (2-8 PM)
Adulting 101 (laundry, dishes – the glamorous life!) followed by the majestic grind of study. Think Elle Woods combined with Rory Gilmore 🙂
Evening (8-10 PM)
I dive into my role as the secretary of Rural Health Positive, where I attend and record meetings and contribute to the wonderful Rural Health Positive initiatives that truly make a difference!

Night (10 PM—Bedtime)
The perfect blend of purpose and relaxation! I wind down, finally have dinner, say my nighttime prayers, and end the night with one last study sprint fuelled by sheer willpower.
My day is a rollercoaster full of learning, laughing at myself, and drinking coffee. Pharmacy is challenging, and I definitely question my sanity. Maybe one day I can actually pronounce all those fancy drug names 😉
