The silly season is almost upon us, and so too are Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Whether you’ve been eyeing off a new piece for your wardrobe, your skin needs some TLC, or your bed sheets need a refresh, now is the time to do it. It’s also a great opportunity to get your Christmas shopping sorted – spoiling not only yourself, but also your loved ones and saving some coin in the process.
What is Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Unfortunately, the biggest shopping event of the year doesn’t constitute for a national holiday. However, Black Friday did start in the United States as the first Friday after Thanksgiving. So, close enough. These days, heaps of Australian and international brands participate and have extended the deals a few days further into Cyber Monday – saving us precious time and money.
When are they?
Black Friday will officially take place on Friday, 25 November and Cyber Monday will be on Monday 28 November. However, based on what we’ve seen across the last few weeks, some brands tend to let us get a head start. Be sure to subscribe to your favourite brand mailing lists and keep an eye out for early Black Friday deals too.
