Charles Sturt students take on Movember Challenge

Our fathers, brothers, partners and friends are facing a health crisis.

Men are dying on average 5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.

There are growing rates of men dying too young, with suicide, prostate and testicular cancers the most common causes.

Leading charity, Movember, has a goal of reducing 25% of male premature deaths by 2030. How are they going to achieve that? By generating awareness and getting people involved in activities like ‘grow a mo’ throughout the month of November.

Alongside any lopsided, itchy or patchy moustache grown, participants raise funds for groundbreaking health projects – 1,250 projects to be exact.

A bunch of Bathurst on-campus students have banded together this month in support of Movember.
