Student Outreach Team Leader, Peter Greening, says the program will help successful applicants long after they finish their degree.
“Becoming a Student Outreach Team member is a great chance to earn some money whilst you study. It helps to build on your communication skills and computer skills, which will strengthen you as a candidate looking for jobs after university.
“It is very rewarding to be able to help students. This can be as simple as providing some helpful advice to a student nervous about starting university, or helping a student in some trouble by directing them to the right support service at CSU to help them solve their issues,” said Peter.
Students applying need to be available from January 2016 and will get approximately 9-10 weeks of work per session and some work in session breaks. Students are required to work approximately 5-10 hours per week and the hours can be scheduled around study commitments.
If you think you have something to offer to next year’s commencing students, submit a resume and cover letter to Peter Greening at firstname.lastname@example.org or for more information please contact Peter on 02 6338 4302.
