Looking for a place to get away – Check out these places along the east coast.

Seal Rocks

  • Walk the Neranie Headland track for a view of Myall Lakes
  • Check out the lighthouse with stunning views

  • Check out One mile beach for a swim
  • Walk down Forster main street for a strip of unique shops and boutiques

South West Rocks

  • Check out the old Trial Bay Gaol (they have a student entry discount), you’ll be sure to spot plenty of kangaroo’s on your visit
  • Take a walk up Smoky Cape Lighthouse
  • Horseshoe Bay beach and Trial Bay main beach are perfect for a swim!

Nelson Bay

  • Fly point is perfect for snorkelling
  • Hike up Tomaree mountain for picture perfect views
  • Check out sunset beach at Soldiers Point
  • Take a walk along the Anchorage
  • Be sure to stop in at Boat Harbour North Headland if its Whale season, it’s the perfect whale watching spot!
  • Jump off the jetty at shoal bay or little beach

Tea Gardens

  • Take a nice scenic walk along the myall river
  • Hike Yacaaba headland – offering stunning views of Port Stephens

Port Macquarie

  • Check out Tacking Point lighthouse, overlooking lighthouse beach
  • Harry’s lookout is perfect for a sunrise
  • The coastal walk takes you along the coastline of the beautiful Port Macquarie Beaches

Byron Bay

  • Complete the Cape Byron Lighthouse Walk
  • Check out boutique like shops and cute café’s + restaurants
  • Swim or surf at some stunning beaches,
  • Try delicious food!
  • Check out the piano bar (the northern hotel)
  • Up for something different, head into Nimbin and check out what the town has to offer

Coffs Harbour

  • Famous for its big banana
  • Walk along the Jetty and have a swim at Jetty beach
  • Travel inland to Bellingen and check out the older town and its beauty

Blueys Beach

  • A mid-way stop between Forster and seal rocks. Filled with beautiful beaches and stunning views. Definitely don’t miss out on this place!
