As an international student at Charles Sturt Bathurst, I recently had the honour of participating in a special event. My journey as an international student at Charles Sturt Bathurst concluded with an unforgettable evening at the Cultural Dinner organised by the Charles Sturt International Team.
The Cultural Dinner was not only a vibrant celebration of diversity but also a heartfelt farewell, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow students and share a memorable evening.
As a representative of Nepal, I had the honor of performing a traditional dance, dressed in my country’s beautiful cultural attire. This experience not only allowed me to showcase my roots but also filled me with immense pride as I shared a piece of Nepal with my peers.
The evening featured a delightful array of food and drinks, bringing together flavors from around the world. Laughter and lively conversations filled the hall as students and faculty gathered , forging new connections and cherishing existing friendships.
As I immersed myself in the experience, I felt a strong sense of unity, as students from diverse backgrounds came together to celebrate our unique heritages.
The atmosphere at the event was filled with excitement and warmth. The fun games, photo booth added to the excitement, capturing the vibrant energy of the night and creating lasting memories. Each snapshot reminded us of the beauty of cultural diversity, unity, and the friendships we formed at Charles Sturt and it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the moment. For me, this event was the perfect way to say farewell to a university that has been my second home.
The Cultural Dinner was not just a celebration of food, dance, and cultural attire; it was a celebration of our shared experiences as international students and the event brought together students from various corners of the globe, creating an environment that fostered understanding and friendship.
I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Charles Sturt International team for organizing such a fantastic event. It was a perfect and a reminder of the incredible experiences and friendships that make Charles Sturt Bathurst so special. For those who joined us at the Cultural Dinner, I hope you all cherished the evening as much as I did and found joy in celebrating diverse community.
