My tried and tested easy Christmas drink ideas

This selection of Christmas drinks are easy to make with simple ingredients. It’s a fun and easy way to spread the Christmas cheer!

Glow Waters

I found this drink one of the easiest Christmas themed drinks you can make. Choose to add in fruits or herbs that convey Christmas spirit and you will have yourself one cheery drink.

To create the first series of Glow Water you will need:

  • sparkling water
  • strawberries
  • lime, and that’s it!

Add all of your ingredients together in sparkling water, let it sit for about 30mins so that the flavour disperses or muddle the ingredients for a quicker spread of flavour and you’re done.

For the second Glow Water you will need:

  • peaches
  • ginger
  • a cinnamon stick.

First step is slicing your peaches. Next, remove the skin from the ginger and slice into rounds. Then add all your ingredients together along with one cinnamon stick. You will be rewarded with a revitalising drink so you can stay refreshed and energised for when Santa comes bearing gifts.

Cranberry – Apple Cider Punch

A tasty drink for warm days, I found it to be refreshing and rejuvenating.
To create this vibrant spirit of Christmas drink you will need:

  • 4 cups of apple cider
  • 2 cups of cranberry juice
  • 2 cups of ginger ale
  • 1 can of orange juice concentrate
  • apple slices
  • orange slices
  • cranberries.

First combine the cider, cranberry juice and orange juice concentrate. Place it in the fridge until it’s ready to be served. Just before serving, pour your drink into a glass or punch bowl and add a splash of chilled ginger ale. Finally, garnish with frozen cranberries, apple and orange slices.

These drinks are a great addition to any Christmas party or family gathering.
