The countdown to Uni Nationals Div 1 is on! With less than a week to go, CSU’s elite athletes are busy training — so, what sports should you be looking out for next week?
CSU teams will be competing in lawn bowls, mixed touch football and women’s rugby 7s throughout the week. Individual athletes have qualified for judo, swimming, cycling and athletics.
The women’s rugby 7s team will be going for their fourth consecutive Australian Uni gold medal, and CSU’s lawn bowls team have won numerous medals in the past. Both are returning to the competition this year stronger and hungrier for gold!
Our best athletes from across CSU’s Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga campuses, and our online student community, have been selected to compete at the Gold Coast competition. And, with several elite athletes competing for CSU both individually and as team members, we are sure to bring some strong competition to the Gold Coast.
