Tis The Season To Get Hired

Summary:

While some of us are perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing over the Christmas break, Deena found a fun way to make some extra cash and spread a little Christmas cheer. Curious how she did it? Check out her story in this Charlie Blog!

If you want to make some extra cash over Christmas, or just want to add some extra cheer to your day, join Scene To Believe today! There are locations across the country including in Sydney, Melbourne, Wagga Wagga, and more.

There’s something special about Christmas time. Lights twinkling on every street and a sense of excitement everywhere you go. From decorating the tree, to wrapping gifts and sipping hot cocoa, it’s a season full of joy and little traditions that make everything feel magical. Whether it’s watching holiday movies, playing in the snow or spending time with loved ones, Christmas brings out the fun in even the smallest moments. It’s a time for laughter, warmth and that wonderful feeling that something joyful is just around the corner.

Last year over the Christmas period, I worked with Scene To Believe. I was able to help create magical moments for young families and friends while working an entertaining and enjoyable job. The roles included the Greeter, Photographer and Point of Sale (POS) Elf. Greeting people and checking them in are all important parts of the greeter role. The photographer is as fun as it sounds. You get to take the photos! Ensure that you get poses, smiles, funny faces, or anything the families might request. The POS Elf usually prints the selected photos and has the merchandise if visitors want to buy some fun frames or snow globes.

I particularly enjoyed working as the photographer as I was able to ensure that the experiences the families had were fun and always brought laughter. Getting the different poses and seeing all the fun outfit ideas that people have always brings a smile to my face.

A holiday tune playing softly in the background, Santa on set and all the other elves helping you out can make the day brighter too. Chats with coworkers about their favourite traditions, exchanging small gifts or treats, and sharing laughter between tasks all bring the season to life.

Even if the workday is busy, the spirit of Christmas finds its way in, reminding us that the Christmas spirit can live in the everyday moments, and can be pictured too.
