Join the Uni Foundations mentoring program as a mentor

Students having a discussion

Are you a current student in your second year or above interested in giving back and supporting new students as an orientation buddy for Session 3? Uni Foundations is a peer-to-peer mentoring program designed to help connect commencing students with an experienced student mentor, setting them up for study success!

Give back and support new students

Charles Sturt Mentoring are looking for engaged and nurturing students who are studying in their second year or above to welcome their next generation of peers into the university community.

As an orientation buddy you will co-design and deliver 4 x 2-hour CSU101 sessions that help Session 3 commencing students to:

  • Develop important study skills
  • Discover key information about their course, tasks and university services
  • Connect with peers

Mentors will receive access to specialised professional development and skill masterclasses. Your efforts will also count towards your STRIVE learning experience and portfolio!
