We’re turning 30, let’s celebrate!

To celebrate turning 30, Charles Sturt University is hosting cocktail parties in Bathurst and Wagga on the 9th and 15th of November and you’re invited!

If you’re hanging around after session finishes, a part of our 200,000 strong alumni, or a member of the wider community,  why not dress up in your finest cocktail outfit and join us? Enjoy complimentary drinks until 7.30pm, entertainment, live music and canapes throughout the night for the subsidised price of $40.

We’re donating 30% of ticket sales to the Charles Sturt University Foundation, so your dollars will be contributing to a worthy cause.

Book your tickets for the Bathurst or Wagga event now to join us on this momentous occasion.

In keeping with 30th birthday tradition, it’s the perfect time to celebrate some of the things we’ve achieved and will continue to achieve as a university.

Our graduate starting salary is a state leader at $62,000, we lead by 14 percent on the national average for graduate outcomes and we are sixth in the country for learner engagement. This means if you’re one of our students or alumni, chances are you have a lot to celebrate!

Over our 30 years we’ve seen lots of change in the world around us. Adjusting our goals to meet future needs has ensured our success. To continue producing successful graduates, contributing to vibrant regional communities and strengthening our internal capabilities as a university, we’ve set some ambitious and transformative goals as part of our University Strategy 2022
Acknowledging the culture and insight of Indigenous Australians, the university’s ethos is described by this phrase from the Wiradjuri, the traditional custodians of the land of our original campuses:

‘Yindyamarra Winhanganha’ (‘the wisdom of respectfully knowing how to live well in a world worth living in’).

Here’s to the next 30 years of Charles Sturt University and making this a world worth living in!
