On Friday 11 August at the Wal Fife Theatre at CSU’s Wagga Wagga Campus, there’s a public lecture from Managing Director of the ABC, Michelle Guthrie.
Ms Guthrie’s lecture, The view from the ABC: Innovation and perspectives of the media landscape, will include her thoughts on what challenges are facing the ABC and the wider media industry.
Perhaps she’ll touch on the quality of journalism in this day and age, or the 24-hour news cycle and what it means for news consumers, or even how social media affects the media space. And there is question time in case she doesn’t cover any of these topics!
Ms Guthrie will also explain how our public broadcaster is relying on innovative strategies to remain unique and one step ahead.
