Run out of credit on your mobile? Can’t get to campus to work on your group assignment? Just don’t feel like leaving the comfort of your couch?
My Virtual Meeting Room (VMR) is now available through a new Student Portal widget. Using the VMR, you can quickly and easily set up online meetings with other students, or even connect online with family and friends all over the world.
The VMR can make working on group assignments easy and convenient, avoid having to book rooms on campus, or provide a new way to hold meetings for your student club or association.
You can invite anyone to join your meeting using a PIN, share documents from your computer screen and chat in real time with friends and family.
The system is easy to use, but Help information is available via the Student Portal if you need it.
You can rearrange the widgets on your Student Portal homepage so the ones you use most often are at the top of the page. When you’re done, just click the ‘Save Layout’ button.
The VMRs are up and running now, so jump online and start meeting (virtually!) now.
