The Environmental Conservation and Management in Cambodia Program is proposed for January / February 2017. The program, accompanied by Dr. Wayne Robinson, will see Environmental Sciences and Park Management students spend three weeks studying the natural and cultural wonders of Cambodia. Focusing on the challenges of conservation and environmental management in a developing country, students will camp over four days in the Cardamom Mountains, working alongside staff and students from the Royal University of Phnom Penh.

Susan Clowser, who participated in the program in 2015, says she “was able to gain an appreciation of the challenges faced by Cambodians in environmental management”.

“The time spent with the students from the Royal University of Phnom Penh was fascinating; it gave me the opportunity to see how they conduct their studies in the Cambodian forests and to compare that to what I have learned at CSU,” Susan said.

The closing date for applications is 16 September 2016. Visit the CSU Global website to find out more details about the program.

The Finland Winter Sports Science Program gives students a chance to spend their holidays as visiting students at the University of Jyväskylä. While in Finland they will participate in three courses, introducing them to Sports Marketing, Organisation and Management of Sports and Winter Sports. Students will be acquainted with various winter sports such as cross-country skiing, skating and games on ice, kick-sledging and snow racket hiking. Students with an interest in sports and sports management are encouraged to apply! The program is expected to begin January 2017.

The closing date for applications is 7 October 2016. Visit the CSU Global website to find out more details about the program.

Coinciding with the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the European Reformation, the European Reformations Study Tour of Germany, Switzerland and France will see students spend 14 days on an immersive trip of history, architecture and sites of the European reformation. The Reformation laid the foundations of the modern world, and all of these developments are the focus of this study tour, accompanied by Dr. Michael Gladwin. Students will also experience the rich culture, history, culinary delights and beautiful scenery of Germany, Switzerland and France.

The closing date for applications is 4 November 2016. Visit the CSU Global website to find out more details about the program.
