2016 Jacoby-Walkley Scholarship applications open now
If you’re passionate about broadcast media, the Jacoby-Walkley Scholarship is your chance to get your foot in the door.
The recipient of this scholarship will receive placements at the Nine Network in Sydney and the Walkley Foundation, participate in a TV production course at AFTRS, plus be mentored by the industry’s best.
Previous winners and runners-up have gone on to be employed by the Nine Network. Check if you’re eligible and apply now.

Could you be the next Sophie McNeil, Latika Bourke or Andrew Quilty? Entries are open now for the 2016 Young Australian Journalist of the Year.
Works can be entered in six categories:
- Text-based Journalism
- Radio / Audio Journalism
- Television / Video Journalism
- All Media (Community and Regional Journalism)
- Photography
- Student Journalist of the Year
Winners in each category receive a trophy and certificate – plus the overall Young Journalist of the Year will receive an exciting overseas adventure.
