The start of session has finally arrived and it’s so exciting to see people on campus again.
In case you missed it, here’s a quick run-down of what you need to know before you dive into your studies.
QR code check-in
As part of Charles Sturt’s Return to Campus Plan, all students, visitors and staff need to use the Department of Health’s QR code check-in system. You’ll find the QR code on posters outside the buildings on campus. You need to check in to every building you enter, every day, regardless of how long you will be there.
Face masks
Remember to pack a mask before you leave home. You should wear a face mask where physical distancing isn’t possible.
Everyone also needs to continue to follow the general COVID-19 safe practices:
- hand hygiene and cough etiquette
- physical distancing of 1.5m
- stay at home if you have symptoms
- get tested if you have symptoms
- download the COVIDSafe app.
Remember you can check Charles Sturt’s COVID-19 updates page for more information.
Where to get help
The team at Student Central will have their front desks open from the start of session.
From Monday 15 March, you’ll also be able to book a face-to-face appointment on campus with a Student Central team member. You can access the new booking form from your Student Portal. The new booking system means you won’t have to wait in line at the front counters.
If you need to chat to someone straight away, you can always call, email or jump on the chat line.
Have a great first week!
