The coronavirus may have put a dampener on the music scene around the country, but that isn’t stopping Charles Sturt University in Port Macquarie from putting on a show.
Due to the cancellations of their on-campus music festival that was scheduled for later in the year, Port SRC are putting on an Online Music Festival this Friday, featuring four local artists and a night full of fun and music through Zoom.
Port SRC wants to create an atmosphere that students can log on and relax, removing themselves from reality for the night.
The line-up is headlined by Port Macquarie’s very own 2019 Toyota Star Maker Award recipient Blake O’Connor. O’Connor is a country music sensation whose debut album ‘Everything I Feel’ landed at #1 on the ARIA Australian Country Charts and peaked at number 31 on the all genres international ARIA Albums Chart.
Pam Hata, Jasmine O’Brien and Vena Klymo fill out the immense amount of local talent performing on the night.
For a fun night, join the party and the Port SRC from your own home from 6pm Friday the 8th @ https://charlessturt.zoom.us/j/97814492392
