Have you seen a staff member make a significant impact and bring our University values to life? Nominate them for a CSU Excellence Award today!
Nominations for the 2019 CSU Excellence Awards open on Monday 1 April and close Friday 24 May. The awards recognise staff members who bring our ethos and values to life in an exceptional way and help to create vibrant regional communities, successful graduates and a strong university.
If this sounds like a staff member you know, email the RED Awards Team. You will be provided with a nomination form and offered assistance with completing the form by a Student Liaison Officer. Winners will be announced on Foundation Day, Wednesday 17 July.
Who can I nominate?
All current employees, including continuing, fixed term, casual and adjunct professional and academic staff, can be nominated for a CSU Excellence Award. You can nominate an individual staff member or a team.
What will I need to do to nominate a staff member?
Your first step is to email the RED Awards Team with information about who you would like to nominate and why. You will then be provided you with a nomination form and a Student Liaison Officer will be available to help you write your nomination. You will need to detail how the staff member or team you are nominating have made a positive contribution to CSU’s ethos and values, and what their impact has been.
Are there different categories?
Yes, there are three categories of awards. When completing the nomination form, you will need to address the criteria for one or more of these categories, and your Student Liaison Officer is available to help you with this. The three categories are:
- Vibrant regional communities
- Successful graduates
- Strong university
How will I know who wins?
The Charles Sturt University Excellence Awards will be celebrated in conjunction with Foundation Day across all campuses. Winners will be presented their awards on the day and details will be published on CSU’s website.
