First CSU, then the world!

Two recent CSU grads are already making their mark in their careers, taking out second place in advertising competition against teams from more than 30 countries.

Charlotte Berry and Grace Espinoza, who graduated from CSU’s Advertising degree two years ago, will inspire future graduates to great heights too.

The duo won the Australian section of the Young Lions marketing communications competition, leading them on to compete in the Cannes Young Lions media category in France.

With only 24 hours to fill a brief for Amnesty International and two years of experience in the advertising industry, the girls faced quite a daunting challenge.

But after studying together at CSU and going on to work together at media agency UM, they knew how to handle the heat. The pair shared some insight into the process in a blog post for B&T Magazine.

“It doesn’t always work out in the expected timings, but we are happy to announce that we cracked our idea within the first few hours, and then proceeded to jump around our hotel room in excitement.”

The pair’s idea of inviting university graduates to commit to Amnesty’s Write for Rights platform around graduation earned them second place in the international competition, and many steps forward in their careers.

These girls have shown that no goal is too big, and with a CSU degree, you can go almost anywhere!
