Bank of knowledge
Believe it or not, students can’t know everything. That’s what Student Central is for! Having worked there I now realised just how much information they hold the keys to and there’s no way students are expected to know it all. Student Central is the first point of contact for general enquiries and we have a lot of CSU general knowledge so if we can’t help directly we can certainly point you in the right direction.
Here to help you
Student Central wants to find the answer to your question. If you’re worried you have done something wrong like missed an assessment deadline, made a mistake on enrolment, or anything – just call us. We’ll tell you whether you’re on the right track, or if you need to try again. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll pass you on to another person that can help you. Just about the only thing we can’t help with is actually finishing your assessment for you!
Your friends on the phone
Sometimes all you need is another person on the end of the line willing to help out and listen. Uni can be a stressful time, so we’ll try to ease your mind. You’ll be talking to real people, who can relate to your problems. We also have the facilities to help you out. A lot of students come to us in a panic, and generally once they receive our advice, they hang up relieved.
We encourage students to find their answer online, especially if it’s a frequently asked question. If it can be found online, we’ll direct you through the website so that you can come back to it in the future.
