If you want to be involved in all the fun of the Eastern Uni Games, but actually taking the field is not your thing, here’s your chance!
CSU Sport is looking for students to take on the roles of University Games Media Assistant and University Games Photographer.
The media assistant will post to and manage social media networks, write media releases and articles, liaise with media, write athlete profiles and interest stories in the lead-up and during the Uni Games, while the photographer will capture photo and video footage of students involved in the Uni Games.
University Games Media Assistant
Essential
- demonstrated skills in managing social media networks
- demonstrated skills in communications
- demonstrated writing skills
- an understanding of student needs and privacy
Desirable
- experience in interviewing students / athletes
- a passion for sport
University Games Photographer
Essential
- demonstrated skills in photography
- demonstrated skills in videography
- demonstrated skills in photo / video editing
- demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- an understanding of student needs and privacy.
Desirable
- experience in a fast-paced environment
- a passion for sport
Accommodation and an honorary payment will be provided. Applicants must be available to head to Wollongong for the duration of the games, from 3 to 7 July.
