A virtual tour of the first stage of the permanent campus for Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Port Macquarie is now available.
The two minute and thirty second fly-through video shows a computer-generated view of stage one of the multi-million dollar campus, which is due for completion in February 2016.
From the main entrance stairway viewers are taken inside the campus to the central courtyard, administration and meeting areas. On level three there is an inside look of the study, research and academic spaces.
The video shows how indoor and outdoor teaching spaces combine on the campus and how a mix of natural materials and colours are used to complement the Mid North Coast surroundings.
Work is well underway on the construction of the new permanent campus in Lake Innes, Port Macquarie.
Site preparation works, external retaining walls and underground services are nearing completion. Concrete has been poured for level one and most of level two. Work will start for level three in the coming weeks.
CSU’s permanent campus in Port Macquarie will be completed through a staged-building program until 2030
